 learning the soprano sax.

i've never played saxophone before but i'm taking up the soprano sax. can anyone help me with some advice?

hey bud! if you want to learn more on soprano sax,strt practising first in mouthpiece after that after you realize that you have a capacity, put the moutpiece in your soprano sax then learn proper tunal quality and perfect the fingering up to altissimo range and keep practice and practice after you get the perfect tone . W/out realizing it your level gett'n higher..Goodluck. :-) hornman

Okay. My sister is playing Alto right now, and wants to switch to soprano. But the instructor says that she isn't good enough on it to play it(she did for about a month). The instrument is the school's. Any advice??
