I have a weird ocarina with 6 finger holes and 2 thumb holes. I hav eonly found one finger chart that is very unclear. Does anyone know how to finger this kind of ocarina or have afinering chart?

Ally, are the six holes on the top of the ocarina all roughly the same size or are there some big and some small. If you have big and small holes, it may match the Hind Soprano chart given in Davide's posting.
Otherwise it is unlikely you will find a chart. Ocarinas are not usually made to exact standards, so they vary in pitch a lot and you really have to experiment with yours and find out a system of fingering that works. Let us know what you come up with. I have fingering charts for a four-hole and a ten-hole. I wouldn't mind adding an 8-hole to the list.
