I just started learning how to play the flute,my embouchure** is ok but for some reason i cant hit low C.Now in band im in percussion,so i dont know much about changing your embouchure,so if neone can help,i'd appreciate it!

C's are tough, especially if you're just beginning. Just give it time, and don't become frustrated. The low register is particularly difficult due to the narrow bore of the instrument. This is why beginners RARELY have to play that low.

Also, your flute is possible leaking air. If the pads do not completely seal when you press down a key and air leaks, you will have trouble with low notes.
Also, as your airspeed must be faster when you play higher noties, your airspeed must be slower when you play low notes.

I'm there also. I've been practicing 3rd an 4th octave too much that I'm having hard time getting the low notes now. After I warm up with long tones on the second octave B and B above the lowest C, I do long tones Bb, A, Ab down to D. After that I practice low D, G next D, G and 3rd octave D and G with no tongue. Then back low B long tone down to D. By then I'm ready to try low C#, C and lowest B. (I've got a B-foot).

The Moyse exercises are the *BEST* for this! Start on whatever your favorite note is; whatever is most comfortable and your tone is best. Middle B is usually a good one. Or Bb or A. Then, long tones in four slow beats (like at 50 on the metronome). If you start on B, beat one is B, then play 3 beats of Bb. Breathe, then do it again from Bb to A. Try to keep the tone the same from note to note, and eventually you'll find that you can play down to C or B with a good strong clear tone. Go slow! Pay attention to what it feels like when you get to the low notes with a good sound. And yes, check your pads. It's VERY common to have leaks in the foot.
