Since clarinet is made of wood, does that mean it is A LOT MORE sensitive to weather than a sax? What are things that i need to be more aware of w/ the clarinet from switching from the sax, like should i be more thorough w/ my cleaning?(i swab my sax after every play and i've had it since july and i've only skipped a cleaning like 5 times should i not do that w/ my clari.?)

no, definitely swab after every use, and you may find the need to swab during rehearsal. Yes a wooden instrument is definitely more sensitive to weather, as it has a grain, so all you need to do is play it for short periods of time when you first get it, adding a little time each day. Also make sure that you warm-up slowly, and that you play in a warm room. When going outside in cold weather, try to stay outside only briefly, as this can cause terrible cracks. Good luck!
