Sax Conn 42W 40 Series

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has played the Conn Alto Sax 42W and if so, what they thought?

The Conn 42W is an interesting and somewhat rare find from the 1970s. It was part of the "Director" series (often nicknamed the Shooting Star model because of the engraving on the bell), but the "W" designation specifically refers to Woodwind, meaning it was intended as a student-to-intermediate model during the era when Conn production had moved to Mexico and then back to the U.S.
