 Curtains: Instrument splits

Hi,

I'm looking for info about the relative amount of each instrument in two of the reed books in the musical Curtains:

1: Piccolo, flute, clarinet, alto saxophone
2: Oboe, English horn, clarinet, tenor saxophone
3: Clarinet, soprano saxophone, alto saxophone
4: Flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, baritone saxophone

Specifically:
In Reed 1, how much picc/flute vs. the clarinet / alto?
And in Reed 4, how much flute? How much bassson? And are the bassoon parts double-scored for bc or bari?

Thanks for any advice.

krs

i'd suggest you check out Bret Pimentals Woodwind Doubling page. The answer probably won't be listed...but you can email him directly and he might know which book is heavy/light in Flute or if the Bassoon part is double scored for Bass Clarinet.
