Eastman offers a doubling degree, and Indiana gives you the choice of a 3- or 5-instrument degree. As someone interested in pursuing graduate work in multiple winds, do I have any more options than trying to get into Indiana or Eastman?
Back to the practice room,
matt.

I have a friend that has done this work at Univ. of South Carolina and the Univ. of Georgia. He also applied and was accepted at Florida State and Miami.

I seem to remember either Michigan State or Michigan offering such a degree.

Matt
Unless you're interested in brass doubling, I don't think Indiana U. is the place for you - unless they chose not to advertise woodwind doubling as a degree option that is!

Edit: Never mind. I found someone currently enrolled at IU studying WW. Doubling. Guess the faculty hasn't gotten around to updating their site!!!

I did a masters degree in 5 woodwinds at Indiana University (graduated a year ago), and am currently working on a doctorate in 5 woodwinds at the University of Georgia.
I have a list of college doubling programs on my web site:

I don't claim the list is comprehensive; additions and corrections are welcomed.
Best,
Bret Pimentel

I recall Michigan had it - though this was back in 1984 era. But they had high qualifications for the doubler - had to be as proficient on the 2nd instrument as the first. I only did Sax performance. I never did build up a full repertoire on clarinet.

Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH offers a 'woodwind performance' Master's for at least 3 instruments, possibly 5. I'm sure you could work with them.
