Hi there

Yes I am in the UK, so Howarth/Crowthers are the best places. I think the tone and how the staples fit could be improved (alternative staples, or reeds as I don’t make mine, or some PTFE tape) and the altissimo has some tuning issues. The scale is fairly even, which is helpful!

I might take a trip into Howarth as I’m quite close to London, but will check what they have in stock before I leave. I’ve heard some positive things about crooks in gold, in terms of warmth of the tone.
