 Howarth S10 Good long term?

I am a clarinetist also doubling flute and saxes. I am looking to take on the oboe.

My father has consented to the purchase of an S10. I have been looking on websites as well as the Howarth website but I can not find any technical specs, e.g. Does it have left hand F? C-B link? Bb resonance key? I am looking for a long term oboe, not one that I'd have to upgrade from in the next 6 months. I moved from not playing clarinet to grade 5 in about 3/4 months and sax and flute even faster after I gained the musicianship. I reckon the hardest thing will be embouchure and breathing but with a good teacher (which will be the first thing I find) I think Ill move on fairly fast.

So, trying to ignore my pretentiousness, do you think it's worth buying an S10 or going straight to an S20?

Thanks

Leonard Bernstein: "To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time."
