I've contacted Chikao about the Ferillo and asked him specifically what is different about the gouger and all he said "I think Ferrillo machine is more accurately." Whatever that's supposed to imply.

I use 2 grafs and an opus 1. The grafs are standard old brass Graf machines. The downsides is the bearings will eventually wear down, and they're heavy mothers. The opus 1 machine is very user friendly, and Robin Driscoll is a super nice guy. I just got my upgrade to the machine and it's waiting for me to try out with Mr. Weber in Arizona, so I'll let you know what I think. He changed the blade curve to give "more vibrations in the channels" which should be very exciting, since i thought this was the exactly weakness of the old blade curvature.
