Not meaning it as a report card, but an answer to JudyP for where I would plan to take you next if we were able to continue working together...

3rd person style just for fun.

Thinking about CJ's comment on personal approach to tone, I agree very much with that. I don't remember us even discussing tone quality except for characteristics like 'FF is where the ugly lives' and the exercise we did to find the 'hot spots' in the room to assist projection. We did focus a lot on stability of tone, tapered releases, playing different note shapes and durations, etc.

My main take away was with a daily routine for warm ups (long tones around mid-range half-hole fingerings to start) and a focus on embouchure refinement (less reed in, rounder chops and no biting) developed via cresc. decresc. in all ranges the old habits for producing pp notes that included some biting would be replaced by improved air support and refined embouchure and greater confidence in general.

And all this is to refine what is already a very good sound.
