I have this Buffet Oboe, the serial number stamped is 8636. It is wood, in excellent condition, no cracks, pads are in decent shape. The plating is just a little worn out in the B, A , G keys of the upper joint
The Buffet logo is stamped only in the bell.
Is this an intermediate or professional model?
How much it is worth?
Thank you

That sounds more likely to be a student model as Buffet pro level oboes have the logos stamped on all the joints - just below the 2nd 8ve cup arm and 1st 8ve adjusting screw on the top joint, between the socket ring and RH1 fingerplate on the lower joint and on the bell below the lower bell key pillar with 'Made in France' under the logo.
Buffet's student level oboes were made by Schreiber and only had the logo on the bell without 'Made in France' under it as they were made in Germany. There were also Evette oboes which were Italian and also carried a four figure serial number.
Can you post a photo of it as that will help identify what oboe you have.
