This is the message from Philippe Rigoutat (extracted from FB) after Rigoutat was bought by BC:
"Dear friends,
I wanted to share with you a few words about what will happen with Rigoutat now that it has joined the Buffet Crampon family. Rigoutat is not going away, quite the contrary: we'll not only keep the design of our instruments, but we will profit from Buffet Crampon’s infrastructure in order to deliver a product of higher quality. It means that Buffet Crampon now has two brands of oboes: Rigoutat and Buffet Crampon.
I will be in charge of the oboe departments of both Rigoutat and Buffet Crampon, and the Rigoutat staff will take care of quality assurance and customer service.
