 Retrofitting a left C#
Author: Lux

Is there someone out there with experience retrofitting a left C# (long C#)? I'm looking to upgrade my horn and feel that the chances of me finding a horn I like and that happens to have a left C# are slim. So, I was thinking I would purchase a horn I like, then see about having a left C# added.

Your thoughts?

I designed, built and fitted one to my own oboe:

... and documented the progress from start to finish here:

The opinions I express are my own.
