I was trying to think up a recital programme for oboe and piano that included original works from different periods. Are there any notable works for oboe and piano composed during the Classical period? I can't seem to think of any sonatas, just the arrangement of Mozart's Oboe Quartet. Any ideas?

There's a transcription of Mozart's Violin Sonata K. 377 by Ingnaz Pleyel ,a contemporary of Mozart's. It's a pretty cool piece. Pleyel re-orchestrated a lot of the piece to make it practical on oboe.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I had never heard of Jacques Widerkehr before. According to the U of North Texas website: Widerkehr's sonatas are the only true 'duo sonatas' for oboe and piano written in the classical period. François Devienne's sonatas deserve special recognition as the only 'solo sonatas' for oboe written predominantly in the classical style.
Seems like slim pickings for the oboe in terms of Classical sonatas.
