Newbie post on the oboe board!
I've always been a faithful single-reed player but recently began flirting with a second-hand Selmer USA oboe. I can't seem to find any lists that would help me narrow down the age - does anyone have any secret places to find this info? I didn't have any success here and the Selmer website doesn't reveal any secrets either.
It's Selmer USA, Grenadilla, serial number B 40,000(ish). Has 2 holes in the bell but no keys that cover it.
