Dear colleagues and friends!
Yesterday my beloved oboe and old friend, Lorée Royal ND 03, was stolen in Tijuana/San Diego (CA) area. Please help me find back my instrument! You would be doing me an enormous favor. If any of you are offered this oboe by a seller, please contact me urgently. Some obvious distinguishing features: no "banana" key (removed), grenadilla wood, silver plated; no original case and cover. Thank you very much.
Respectfully,
Boris

Sorry to hear this! :-( You might also try eBay. Someone might advertise it without a serial number listed.

I also read before that stolen oboes from the USA are often advertised on eBay International. The sellers' addresses are in the US, but they list internationally to avoid detection in the US.

Thank you newedit617, I'll definitely try this way, too.
