I just acquired a collection of oboe shape tips.
I can not identify the makers of some of the tips.
One make has all of the letters and number characters stamped in double lines.
R, G, 2, -1
Another make simply says: S possibly Symer?
Any ideas?
With thanks in advance,
Peter

Hi, Peter -
If the 'S' tip is black, it is a Westwind tip. The 'S' is For Bob Sorton. The original is one of a batch ob Brannen X tips, but was noticeably wider than the rest. Bob asked me to copy it for him to sell; I now carry it in the Westwind catalog.
