Hi Folks,

I heard this recording on youtube of Diana Doherty. That M2 sounds so amazing... wow. I have never been a fan of Marigaux but this M2 is compelling

I love her energy. I wish they had had instruction videos like this available when I was coming through the ranks in college.

Not only is the Marigaux a great Oboe. It is a great company as well.

I had the pleasure of corresponding with Renaud Patalowski the President of the company before the IDRS conference in NYC. I had some issues with my Marigaux 901 I bought 5 years ago. He was quite the gentleman and unlike three "reputable-skilled" repair people quickly identified the "repairable" issue and solution.

I had many pleasant conversations with him before and at the IDRS conference.

During the conference I left my Oboe over night with Matthieu his technician. He addressed my concerns beautifully.

No Hassle ... no drama at all.

All I can say is Merci Beaucoup Hautbois Marigaux~!

Diana is great oboist and musician whatever brand instrument she plays. This time, it happens to be whatever it was.

Diana is amazing...most of all such a sensitive and musical player. I too was intrigued by her Marigaux and subsequently tried about 30 different horns. I ended up with a Marigaux Altuglas and it was the best decision I have ever made. Amazing instruments Marigaux is making. Prior, I have been a 20 year Loree player.
