Hello everyone
I have acquired a very old selmer oboe. Serial # is difficult to read, looks like 609. It is in very good playing condition which is surprising for its age. It is full system with left f. What is interesting is that the low c lever is on the back below the thumb rest. Can anyone shed some light on what I have here? Thanks

Some Cabart and Kohlert instruments have a low C right thumb key.
Your Selmer could possibly be a "stencil" instrument.
Can you post photographs of your oboe showing all of the key-work?
With best wishes,
Peter

Thanks for your response Peter. Big correction !!! Low C was a typo, it is the low Bb on bell lever which is on back under thumbrest. I will attach complete keywork photos. Still need info. Thanks so much.
Best Regards
Mike
