Recently I cam across a Youtube video ("Hidden Treasures- Gaetano Donizetti-Andante for oboe &Strings") with Christophe Hartmann playing.
An absolutely ethereal melody. However, I can not seem to find the sheet music anywhere. Does anyone happen to have a copy of this Andante, or know how or where to procure same?
With thanks in advance,
Peter

Hi Peter,
I just heard this on the radio a couple of months back, and wanted to know the same thing. I couldn't stop listening to it. I managed to find a copy on sheet Music Plus, which I think is a Molenaar Edition or similar. The publisher had to print it, but I did finally get it a couple of weeks back, and it was a very reasonable price as well.
The copy is for piano reduction, however. I plan to have a good listen to the string version and arrange my own string parts.
If you would like a copy of the oboe part in the meantime, let me know and perhaps I could email you a temporary copy.

Hi Rachel,
Many, many thanks for your most kind reply. This Donizetti Andante has also become a favorite of mine as well. Thank you for your kind offer. I will try to procure the piece from Sheet Music Plus. If you happen to come up with a string version I would love to have a copy...
With very best wishes,
Peter
