Loree has a new model of oboe

I'm not sure how recently the new "Etoile" model of oboe was released, but I just came across it today. This oboe has a new bore which "offers a freer blowing instrument which is less physically demanding, but still possesses a rich and full tone especially in the second octave."

Here is the link to the Loree website http://www.loree-paris.com/instruments/f-loree-etoile/?lang=en#prettyPhoto

Yup, it's been shown around for the past year. It's Loree's attempt at gaining a larger share of the non-American market, similar to Howarth's attempt with the new XM.

By the way, I have a Loree gold plated Etoile bocal for my Loree EH, which really does some nice things for my MR series EH. My colleague has the same bocal for her H series EH at it REALLY improves a lot of aspects of her instrument.
