If you have the time, take the reed out and top joint off, then close all the fingerholes/plates with your left hand fingers and block the end of the tenon off with any finger of your right hand. Then blow into the reed socket and open the 8ve keys in turn. Then do the same but suck the air in and finally mop out the top joint and put it all back together again.
