Hello all,
I have recently been experimenting with some older Pisoni 47mm tubes I had lying around. The problem is, that when tying blanks about 80% leak. I have been careful when shaping. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

I've had similar problems tying on pisoni tubes. With a mack+ shape I have real issues getting them to seal. I've tried with a gilbert 1 and it wasn't a problem. I have no real advice on fixing the issue just that I've had the same problems. I don't use my pisoni tubes anymore.

Bread, what staples do you use? I play on a Mack+ and I cannot get Pisoni tubes to seal for the life of me.

I use either the loree ak staples or the stevens 2 tying at 72 mm. I've been making good reeds on both of them.
