 Value of 1935 Selmers?

Good morning!

I am a dad with two daughters both of whom play clarinets. I am looking to upgrade their current instruments and a local woodwinds store is selling a "matched pair" of 1935 Selmers in excellent condition for $2000 total. I don't know much about instruments and was wondering if this sounded reasonable? Thanks!
