Hello Christina, yes, most if not all the advanced players who frequent the BBoard have at least read through these pieces if not performed them. All very challenging to "play well". v/r Ken

I haven't. These are extremely difficult pieces. The only pieces I have played through 4 years of college are by:

Weber, Brahms, Mozart, Saint-Saens, Schumann, Rossini, and Osborne.

That's an awfully small repertoire list for 4 years of college. I'm assuming you're not a performance major.

I'm not. I've also played 1-9 in the Rose Studies. And all the major and minor scales. In addition to, Festive Overture, Blue Shades, Tempered Steel, Courtly Airs and Dances, Ritmo Jondo, La Fiesta Mexicana, Carmina Burana, American Elegy, Elegy on a Young American, Americans We, Be Glad Then, America, Chester, When Jesus Wept, Lincoln Portrait, America, Stars and Stripes Forever, Armed Forces Salute, Concertino for Winds and Percussion, American in Paris, Handel in the Strand, Lincolnshire Posy, VFW March, Irish Tune from County Derry, Procession of Nobles, Slava, Overture to Candide, Blessed Are They, First Suite in E-Flat, Second Suite in F, Masque, Songs of Grace and Songs of Glory, Chorale and Alleluia, and Sheperd's Hey.

Of Weber: First Movement, First Concerto. First Movement Grand duo Concertant. Brahms: 3rd movement 2nd Sonata. Mozart: 1 and 3. Saint-Saens: 1,2, and 3. Schumann-1st movement. Rossini-1 and 2. Wilson Osborne Rhapsody. 3 performances-Saint-Saens 2, Grand duo 1, and Osborne; More than any other music major in Western Connecticut State University.
