I beleive these are The E11 C and Eb models. They dont look like professional models, what halped me to beleive this was the case- it's the same case they give with E11 Bb models because I own one and it's the same case that came with mine. Hope this helps.

gbk--what is a dollar worth vs. a pound these days. When they are asking 516 lb. what the dollar value?
Happy new Year.

Bob...As of today the exchange rate was:
1 British Pound = 1.60330 US Dollar
1 US Dollar = 0.62371 British Pound
Thus, £516 = $827 ...GBK

Buffet's E-11 models in C and Eb sell for around $1000. These have a bit of extra work done on them, so if you can get them for around the $1,000 mark, they should be good buys.
I haven't tried the E-11 Eb, but I've played the C, and it's quite good, though a little shallow in tone compared to the Prestige R-13, the Leblanc Opus or the Fox, which go for over double the price.
As you know, Buffets are quite variable, even when new. If you buy one of these, you absolutely must get a trial period, with your money back for any reason or no reason, and you pay the shipping.
When you get it, check the intonation with an electronic tuner, with someone else watching it. If there are notes that are significantly out, send the instrument back regardless of how well it plays otherwise.
Best regards.

Since the AUCTION says nothing about being able to return them if dissatisfied, be sure to ask the seller BEFORE bidding.

Yes, I agree about the return policy. There doesn't seem to be one unless the seller agrees to it before you bid. And, you can always get a new E-11 C or Eb from IMS and know you'll be able to send it back if you don't like it. Also, last time I looked at Buffet E-11 C clarinets in the store at IMS, they were in the $850.00 price range. You might give them a call before bidding on these. They can do the cork pads on the upper as well.
