 Excelsior Sonorous Class

Somewhat thrilled to have won (on eBay) an "Excelsior Sonorous Class" clarinet by Hawkes & Son. It's a simple system clarinet (which is something else I've wanted to have lying around too). I can't do "live links" to the Interent, but the complete URL is:

Interesting that this instrument has those typical B&H rings and also the easily recognizable barrel shape. I'll have a lot of fun with it. And, if I don't care for the tone, I do get two old reeds with it--a soaking in peroxide and who knows how great they'll play!

Looks more like a Mueller system. Too many keys for a simple system.
