It's not a matter of how good. The secret is to leave your credit card under the xmas tree.

Santa brought me a microfiber cloth, the Ridenour Fingering Chart book (which rocks the world), the newest David Weber release ("A Portrait of David Weber"), and an awesome keyboard. Granted, I'm still only in piano fundies (level II next semester!) but I'm excited.
It's got 76 keys, touch sensitive, "Portable Grand." Yahoo.
Good Clarineting,
A.

I got a stereo system to bring to college, some nice music history reference books, a Brahms CD and a bumper sticker reading "Musician- Will Play For Food." And some money from my grandma so I can now afford to go to that Julliard String Quartet concert.
Be merry!

I didn't get a low-C Buffet or Selmer bass clarinet either ---- darn! But at least my wife bought me a drill press so I can drill more and better holes in the instruments I've got...........

When I bought my own low C bass clarinet, my wife said, "Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas and Happy Father's Day--for the rest of your natural life!!!!" (or something to that effect....)
Happy Holiday's!!!!!!!

Give a man a low-C Bass clarinet and he'll learn to play.
Teach a man how to make a low-C Bass clarinet and he'll make lots of decorative objects, before he has something he can play.

I got nothing musical for Christmas... :( But I've got money to put toward a new mouthpiece or to put toward the Buffet Festival I've been eyeing... But I'll get that one only in my dreams.

Wife and I treated ourselves to a ... treadmill. I spend too much time seated and the "seat"'s spreading ...
