 Yamaha AD-CL1 (Advantage) Insight Desired

Hi,
I'd like to hear if anyone has experience with the
Yamaha Advantage AD-CL1 Clarinet. I'm considering
this clarinet for starting out and wondering how
it compares to the Yamaha YCL-250. Any help and
insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

If you are contemplating your first clarinet purchase, and have yet to play the instrument, it may be worthwhile to rent for the first few months.

The Yamaha line is well built and should give you some satisfaction in ownership. If you're willing to accept the bumps and bruises present on previously owned clarinets, you'll save considerably.

These models are solid, readily refurbished to top condition.

Start at your local repair shop, and be prepared to TAKE advice.
