Monterrey Mexico Question

Hello out there,

I was just wondering if anyone out there has substituted in the UANL orchestra or knows anything about Monterrey Mexico. I am going down there at the end of January for a few months of playing and was wondering if anyone had opinions or impressions of either the orchestra or the city itself.
At anyrate I am looking forward to the time I will spend down there, i think it will most likely be a good time.(Mexico+playing=fun) Hope to hear from some of yall.

Bob,

Though I haven't been down to sub, a few of the clarinet players from my clarinet studio have in the past few months. I know they've really enjoyed themselves, and have found the orchestra enjoyable to be a part of. I also hear the food is great...
