A good friend of mine (John Kittle - an excellent amateur clarinetist) and I have given ourselves a nice little challenge: within a year, we will play the cute first Concerto for Two Clarinets in E Flat Major written by Krommer (Op. 35, not to be confused with his second one, Op. 91). We will use one of the several good community orchestras in Canada National Capital region(the specific one yet to be defined - maybe the Kanata Symphony Orchestra or the Ottawa Chamber Orchestra) as our vehicle. This will be a lot of fun since this little gem will be a definite crowd pleaser.
But I just cannot find a full set of orchestral parts. I looked around on the Web, accessed the ICA music database. Bottom line: This particular concerto does not seem to have a full set of parts that can be rented or bought (in the place I looked at least).
Where do you suggest that I look?
Thank you for your help

Be forewarned, the rental is very expensive. We did a run of 4 performances in Savannah and the rental was about $2000.
