Where would I go to look up a serial number of a LeBlanc clarinet to find model and manufacture date.
Thanks,

You would go to Kenosha, Wisconsin ...
Leblanc has not published a serial number list. See http://www.woodwind.org/clarinet/Equipment/HowOld/index.html for an explanation. In essence - contact Leblanc customer service, and if your clarinet is pre-1962 you're OOL.

The last I checked, you had to send an inquiry via snail mail, not email for this. I did, about a year ago, but haven't heard from them yet. I also emailed about some of the new models. No responce on that either.

Willie -
I've called them a couple of times, on the 800 number listed at the link Mark gave, and they've gotten back to me within a day. I think you're in Europe, so that may not be practical, but it's the only way they seem to respond.
Best regards.

I got a response to e-mail about serial numbers, but had to ask twice. No reponse the first time, prompt answer the second try.
