 Lessons in the mail?

If there are a few here interested in participating in an experiment, please email me and I will give details. You must be able to play back minidiscs and also possibly record onto them (or onto cds).

Intriguing, - wots all this then? Don't have facility as specified but could be up and running easily. I'm in UK so might be a distance problem ?

I received an inquiry from someone with the domain name

ku-eichstaett.de

I responded to the address from which the email originated, but it bounced more than once. Please try again.

David,

I responded to your query via email 2 days back (I am based in France), did you get it?

It has been suggested to me that I would havea larger potential audience if I offer CDR responses and not just minidisc. I can do that if it is a make or break thing for anyone.

I await inquries. Please note if cd would be your only option.

In addition, if you see a cheap cd recorder for sale somewhere, I would appreciate knowing that as well.

Mr. Hattner, the idea of long distance recorded lessons sounds intriguing. I thought of it a number years back but abandoned the idea because I'm very hands-on teacher and better suited at playing/demonstrating my curriculum in person. I'd be very interested in the success and pitfalls of such a venture if you're willing to share it with us. Best of luck. v/r KEN

This is probably getting too close to advertising/self promotion already (I am sure Mark will police that and let me know when/if it goes to far).

But I have received numerous inquiries and several will be doing the 'experiment' for which at the moment I am not charging anything. I figure I can handle a few more.

If those people wish to start a thread describing their results, I will be happy to participate in it, but I don't think I should start it unless asked by Mark specifically to do so.

Via a neighbor I WILL be able to burn a 'lesson' onto a cdr for those of you who don't have the capability to play minidiscs. I will get my own home burner eventually.

If you want details on what the 'lessons' might consist of, please write me privately. I have a stock email I have been sending out.

Thanks for your indulgence.
