Could you please direct me to a fair priced and honorable dealer of the Amati Bb clarinet 600 series?
Thanks,
Mrdi - (Mrdi2003@yahoo.com)

Graham's Music sells Amati clarinets and they are a sponsor of this bulletin board.

Graham is also a real nice guy who goes far out of his way to please his customers.

His #1 priority is to make sure they are totally satisfied (even long after they have purchased an instrument)...GBK

Yeah I've been emailing him, he answers questions really promptly. I'm thinking about getting an Amati (German) instrument, and I'm 99% sure I'll get it through him if I decide to.

Karel is correct, WW&BW do sell Amati Clarinets. But it almost seems as if they sell the things by accident, while Graham actively pursues Amati sales. I think this is great, because he has frequent contact with Amati, and he appears to know the instruments technically quite well.

Graham is excellent with fast email response, and his prices are not at all unreasonable. He has a reputation for handling customer problems well and promptly, too, but I've never had personal experience in that area.

For an unsolicited comment, Mrdi, the Amati ACL-605, (which has low Eb) is quite a different instrument from the other 600-series Clarinets, although there's no quality difference among them. But the -605 is a truly heavyweight stick.
Regards,
John
