Our Tulsa Community Band is rehearsing this Grade 3 band music by Jan Van der Roost [1991-3] for Christmas programming [it has very well-written bass, and sop cl parts]. Our cl'ist-conductor asked the above question, are there words for it? At first we believed it was very old music [rearranged], but I have found no evidence [AOL-Google searching] of that, so far. So, can anyone help us? TKS, Don

Many TKS, Mark, my conclusion also, one of Roost's last 20+ years of [Dutch?] compositions, many for bands. Did find Cant. choral groups etc, singing square notes??, a nice old English name. Don

Herr Bach wrote many (unworded) chorale preludes ... these are GREAT when transposed/arranged for clarinet choir. They transport very well, indeed.
