William E. Rhoads has a number of etude books out for alto and bass clarinet, published by Southern Music Company. But if range isn't a problem for you, Klose or any other standard clarinet studies are just fine.

If you're playing the alto clarinet for fun, regular books like klose and Baremann will be fine.
If you have any serious aspirations about being a musician, practice the bflat clarinet and only play the alto clarinet in the band. The technical practice you do on the clarinet will transfer over.

Yes, I wanted to improve my Alto Cl skills for Cl Choir, so I echo Hat's comments with "practice X3", and make use of the slight fingering diffs from Bb sop to Bb bass to help the soft-voiced alto speak as you wish! Don

HAT - have any "serious modern" composers used the alto clarinet in their orchestrations (as opposed to the basset clarinet)?
