Thanks for some people's advice in my post "Why do we play clarinet?"
It made me realise a few things I've forgotten about over the last few months.
Last night, I did a performance of Takemitsu's "Rain Spell" (Piano, Harp, Vibraphone, Flute, Clarinet) and it was a great performance.
I took some relatives along to see the ensemble play, and they loved it! I'd forgotten that playing music brought joy to people - my friends and family included. It just made the performance so much more satisfying.
So thanks everyone, for helping me get my feet back on the ground!
