Hi,
I'm looking for a store somewhere in New York, and the owners name is Weiner or Wiener (I can't remember which). It was strongly recommended to me by a few professional players that I buy my next clarinet there. I found their site back in August, but I can't find it now. Anyone have more details? I'm so excited, I'm getting an R-13! I've been saving for a while, I had been getting money by teaching ballet but I wasn't too good at collecting the fees and I guess the parents of the kids I'm teaching forget. But last night it was my birthday and I thought we were going out to eat. I came home from going shopping at Borders and I walked in the house and everyone yelled "surprise!" All my friends were there, and we had a big party, my mom had planned it... Between my friends and parents I collected about $680 dollars! Sorry to bore everyone, but I'm so happy.. :-) Anyway, if anyone has any info on that store I'd appreciate the help. I searched google and yahoo and nothing came up.

Ella -
It's not in New York City, but out in Mineola, on Long Island. It's a great mail order source, but I've found it a dark and unwelcoming store to go to. Just my opinion, and they do have a stock of instruments and some heavily carpeted and pretty dead tryout rooms.
Best regards.
