I play on a Boosey & Hawkes 1010, which has a cylindrical (i.e. parallel) bore of about 15.2 mm or 0.6 inch. I know the instrument needs a mouthpiece with a similar-sized cylindrical bore, which eliminates most of the usual sources. I am wondering whether the mouthpieces Lebanc supplies for its LL and Big Easy models or the mouthpieces Selmer supplied with its Series 9 clarinets (all of which, I believe, are large cylindrical bore instruments) would be compatible. Has anyone tried this?

Haven't a clue about 'em, but it sounds like you should look for either good used B and H Symphony 1010 or Imperial 926 m'ps.
Better still, contact Peter Eaton on a web search. I play on his Elites (which are his wide bore clarinets - really new generation 1010's with the intonation problems ironed out), for which he builds lovely mouthpieces. See his website for details.

I am having a new large bore Rossi made for me and am also having Mr. Rossi "bore-out" one of my mouthpieces so it will match the new clarinet. Do you have someone who can perform this type of "surgery" on an exsisting mouthpiece?

Keith, I believe I recall that the boosey & hawkes website (woodwind forum) had an answer to a mp query with an address for an english firm that had on file all the original specs for b&h mps. I'm guessing that they may be able to provide new "original" mps for these instruments. I recently tried to find this listing again because I'd like to have a new 926 mp made, but I couldn't seem to find it in the limited time I had to look. Perhaps you could ask them for this information.
