What are some reasons for the G/D tonehole being stuffy? Particularly in the lowest register. The E and F sound fine but when it gets to the G it just dies and dies hard, if I lean into it, it gets worse. I taped the #/b vent down tight, but it didn't help, so I'm not sure thats the problem, but haven't ruled it out.
A on up plays fine. The same situation happens at the D past the break, not as bad though.
The clarinet sounds fantastic, it feels a bit strange to hold but I could get used to it, if I can figure out this problem.

Check C/F key opening height for clearance (measured at the highest point) of about 1/3 the diameter of the tone hole. Also check C/F tone hole for welding flow.

Vytas, Thank you!! The C/F was low, I opened it up some and the note cleared up. Thanks for the tip. This horn is fantastic.
