Thank You (A Follow-Up)

I just wanted to put a quick little post of thanks up with an update since a few of you have emailed me to hear what has happened.

For those of you who read and took to heart my recent post about my friend Melissa, I am happy to report that she is on the road to recovery.

She remained in a drug-induced coma for a bit, until the doctors felt she was stronger, and healed. As of what I was told yesterday she is up and speaking well, walking with the aid of a walker, and progressing with her recovery. (Unfortunately I haven't been able to get in touch with her since I've been away at school.) The only real problem I was told was she was still having trouble with her short-term memory, which will hopefully also slowly come back to her. I've heard nothing about her future with the clarinet, or when she will be able to retun to her normal like and activities, but I'm still praying for her complete and successful recovery because you never know what could happen at any time.

I just wanted to thank those of you who kept her in you thoughts during the difficult last few weeks. Hopefully I will have even more great news to report sometime in the future.

Really good news Jenna - I've been wondering how she was doing. Hope she continues to improve & is able to get back to playing.
