Does anyone know what is going on with the 'Professor Romeo Orsi'
woodwind manufacturer in Milan, Italy? Their website, http://www.orsi-wind-instruments.it/, no longer seems to work.
Email sent to their information address, 'info@orsi-wind-instruments.it' gets bounced back with a "No service" error
message. I know I brought up their website within the last
few months, so this is a pretty recent development.
I bought a really lovely professional model Bb clarinet in cocobola
wood with goldplate keys from them just last February for
under $1200 and thought this 150-year-old family company was
a real find. I truly hope this doens't mean they've gone out
of business but what a loss if they have. Perhaps they have been
sold to another manufacturer?
If anyone knows anything more please get back to me. I would really
like to get the matching A clarinet from them.
Thanks,
Jon Hill

Hi,
I was in contact with ORSI some weeks ago via email and requested a catalogue of there instruments, it duly fell through my letter box (UK), I just tried to find them again with no success (is that how you spell it?) I am as perplexed as you!

The website may offline for updating... If you have a phone #, you may consider calling the company.

The Orsis I have worked on have been mechanically sloppy. I don't know if they are still like that.

Javier:
Yes, you're right, the site is back. That's a relief.
Thanks for your help.
