Hi guys.
Today my teacher gave me No.16 from the Kroll 20 Carpices, for my audition, to replace my Baermann study. No big problems so far, I have a 'perfect a bar a minute' approach, and so in 9 minutes I got the first 9 bars under my fingers (still a gair way to go anyway).
Bar 10 concerns me, as does 24. Any good general advice on getting this thing up and running in about a month? I don't see myself having problems with it, but you never know. A good way to approach it so it's excellent later on would be a help.
Thanks in advance again guys!

General Advice, as i don't know the caprice:
take it as slow as you need, use a metronome HEAPS, and basically just try to get the notes feeling completely comfortable. After that comes the hard part: making it music. A lot of people disregard studies etc. as technical excercises, and don't make the effort to play them musically, so its really worth concentrating on that.
Good Luck!
btw... did you try out for AYO/national music camp?

Susannah
I never have tried out, as I can barely get into MYO (I keep getting reserve every year), so I guess I'd rather save the money. I think I will next year though.
