 Pleased with my B-11 Buffet

I've been looking for a "knock around" plastic clarinet for outdoor dixieland gigs to save my R-13 . It took awhile, but I got a B-11 from eBay for ~ $120.....Well, I was pleasantly suprised. With a Vandoren wide open mouthpiece and lightish reed, this horn has a nice bright sound, and feels like my "good" clarinet. Wouldn't want to play chamber music on it, but am looking forward to using it at some jazz gigs. I would certainly recommend the horn to beginners. I think it's better than any other plastic horn I've tried.

Put another mouthpiece on it, and you can just as well play classical.

Yamaha YCL-20 and Vito 7214 are very nice horns TOO!
