I know a little about Oklahoma BU. A good friend attended there for part of his undergraduate degree. I can't tell you much more than the fact that he liked it there and really enjoyed the faculty. My only thing is that it's in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma. If you're from there, it's not too bad, but otehrwise it'll take getting used to.
It's a good place and I konw you'll get great experiences there.
My question for you is, what are you looking into at these colleges as far as a major course of study?

Most college music programs have web sites. Once you have found the college web site look for links to academics, schools, departments, etc.

Most list the degrees they offer, the faculty, ensembles, courses of study etc. Once you have found the ones that look the most interesting you could send email or make phone calls to find out more.

Hola!

Thank you for your replies! I am looking to major in Elementary Music Education and minor in Biblical Studies. I play clarinet (primary instrument), alto clarinet, alto saxophone (this is my first year. My band director wanted me to march saxophone this fall, so I'm a saxophone player at the moment.) and I am learning how to play tuba.

Try Baylor university in Waco Tx, they have a major music department and it is Baptist affiliated.
