 Artie Shaw Concerto for Band

Thought some of you might be interested--I've ordered an arrangement of the Concerto with concert band accompaniment for Fest-Musik-Haus (band music from Germany). When it arrives (about six weeks) I'm going to take it down to our local high school band and run through it. I'll let you all know how it goes--from the demo tape Herbert sent me, it sounds like a winner!!! In any case, it will be a lot better (and easier) (and more legal) than transcribing from the rented orchestral score.

FYI--that's the *clarinet* concerto with band accompaniment--it's still early this am.
