My friend and I are trying to locate the music of a clarinet duo with symphonic band accompaniment, with a name something like Moto Perpetuo / Moto Perpetuum...
We saw it performed about 10 years ago with the band we now play with (we're both 21) and thought it was an absolutely amazing piece. Now we're old enough, and (hopefully!) good enough, we want to learn it, but the conductor of the band no longer has the music, and none of us can remember the composer or any useful details at all! He said, however, if we can locate it, we can play it with the band!
I know this is a really really long shot, but does anyone out there who happens to play a lot of band music know which piece i'm talking about?! It's basically one long line of semiquavers which pass between the 2 players, and which, if your eyes are shut *should* sound like 1 player!
I've tried searching on various on-line sheet music websites, and also tried a couple of music libraries in London.
If anyone has any suggestions of either, what this piece is (!) or where I may be able to find out what it is, I'd be so grateful.
I haven't actually been on this website for a couple of years, but everytime I've asked before, people have been so helpful and always solved my problems, so I'm holding out hope that it'll happen again... ;-)

You're probably thinking of Moto Perpetuo Op.11 for Violin by Paganini. If you would have used Google or some other search engine and typed
Moto Perpetuo clarinet
you would have found many transcriptions for clarinet. None, as far as I know, are duets, though, unless instead of circular breathing (a technique this piece screams for) the piece is "traded off".
