I was wondering if I could get any opinions on how chedeville mouthpieces play, as well as how they compare to kaspars. I own and play on kaspars but have never played on an actual chedeville mouthpiece (as opposed to the kaspars, some of which are made from chedeville blanks as is my understanding). As I understand, there were also different types/makes of chedeville mouthpieces?? (not referring to buffet remakes, but actual chedevilles).
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated and thanks for your help!

Now where is that sharp stick I left for stirring this fire?
Do a search in the archives, this is a long-trodden, mostly-sodden
trail. Forget this nonsense and get onto a living mouthpiece maker.
Given that you have a .edu extension, it is likely that your playing career will outlast the supply of unobtainable gear.
Most Cheds are unplayable until refaced, anyway.
Why not skip the intervening steps and buy something from those that have studied the great achievements from the past and *gasp*
IMPROVED the design/execution of the same?
Or, you could just save up your money and blow 2 grand to learn...
