Good for you, Mark, I couldn't find any mention in my [OLD] 2500 Historical Woodwind Insts. Denis, if Al Rice doesn't spot this thread, I'd suggest contacting him at "arrice@rocketmail.com", his sources/knowledge are the best! There is a Yahoo Groups site on "Early Clarinet" where many experts exchange info. There is a French site with many pics of old clarinets, possibly accessible via "---- a vent anciens".
